The purpose of education is to develop children’s understanding and give them the skills to apply this knowledge in later life. It is crucial that everyone involved understands the particular emotional, social and learning needs of every pupil and develops good relationships with them so that effective teaching and learning can occur.

Survey of Local Authority Websites relating to the autism spectrum

For this research, fieldwork was undertaken to answer questions on a wide variety
of issues related to online provision of information about the autism spectrum, LA
provision for children on the autism spectrum, parent support, related services for
children on the autism spectrum, and accessibility issues.
