Diary entry - 23rd June 2013

My A-level exams are over, hopefully I did well. When I returned home my Dad asked me if I felt “empty” now that I am finished with the school that I’ve been going to for seven years and I answered “yes”. School gives me routine, which is very comforting, but now I have nothing, at least for the next 3 months when I start university, if I’m accepted there. Fingers crossed I won’t turn up to results day in August with a smelly neckbeard and half-lidded eyes due to my lack of structure.

During the Summer I’ve got work experience at a local community radio station helping a student show with their research in to local issues that will affect young people around the area I live. There’s also work experience at my media academy transferring skills in organising and writing for a radio show.
