You don’t’ have to drink if you don’t want to
- Go out with your friends and have a non-alcoholic drink instead of an alcoholic one. You can still be with them and have fun, but you don’t have to drink alcohol.
- If you are offered an alcoholic drink but you don’t want one, say no.
Don’t drink quickly
- If you want to have an alcoholic drink, make it last. Pace yourself. You don’t have to drink your drink quickly like your friends might.
If you feel pressured into drinking when you don’t want to, you should think about whether or not you really want to spend time with the people who are pressuring you.
