Why is smoking bad for me?


Smoking is highly addictive.

There is lots of evidence that smoking is linked to a number of diseases, including cancer.

Smoking causes 9 out of 10 cases of lung cancer, which is the most common cause of cancer death in the UK (Cancer Research UK). And throat cancer is on the rise.

Every year over 100,000 smokers in the UK die from smoking related causes. (www.ash.org.uk)

Smoking is not worth the risk!

If you don’t smoke, why bother starting?
