Bear, Bobbin and The Winter Festival

Inclusion and appreciation for all ‘just as they are’ stands at the heart of Bear Autism picture books featuring a gentle, rainbow-patched bear with autism. Following international accolades for Bear: A Story of Autism and Difference and Bear and The Lost Tooth, Bear Autism is delighted to release of Bear, Bobbin and The Winter Festival.  

'One, two, three...We hop, we skip, we spin about!' sing Bear, who is neurodiverse, and Bobbin, who is visually impaired, in this inclusive and beautifully illustrated story printed by Welshpool Print Group.  Find out how Bear and Bobbin support each other with their sensory needs and share in the joy and special gifts that their friendship brings over the busy and sometimes overwhelming Winter Festival.  

Children will be enchanted by the delightful images of Bear and Bobbin creating a snow bear together, skipping through the woods with Pip (Bobbin’s support hare), navigating the Winter Festival celebrations and much, much more. The magical ToothBeary from Bear and The Lost Tooth even makes an appearance somewhere in the story illustrations.

This book is in memory of my dear friend and former Autism Spectrum Specialist Advisor, Amanda Paterson who sadly died of breast cancer; she carried on supporting our young people on the spectrum right up until she died. An absolute sparkling star!
