Why did we create the Pack?
*Only 1 in 4 autistic children feel happy in school. Peer acceptance and understanding more about autism can help change this.
Our Educators’ Pack supports all-staff confidence to foster student understanding, awareness and a sense of belonging and inclusion for all autistic children and young people.
All our Educators’ Pack resources have been co-produced with our Autistic Young Experts.

Your WAAM25 Educators’ Pack includes:
- An Interactive World Autism Acceptance Month Handbook which includes:
- An introduction to autism and education and World Autism Acceptance Month
- An overview of the educational materials available
- Advice on including everyone - leadership teams, teaching staff, autistic students, and parents and carers - in the WAAM celebrations
- An overview of how to launch you own WAAM campaign using the assembly materials provided.
