Tool 4 - Environmental Checklist
This tool offers a checklist of Good Autism Practice in relation to the classroom environment including the
staff within it and allows for the identification of areas for development.
This Tool will help you to:
- Identify and record the range of sensory differences that you have observed with the pupils that you work with
- Understand how individual sensory differences and how the environment can elevate stress and anxiety
- Implement reasonable adjustments that could be made to the environment to better support the pupil
