This tool offers the opportunity to identify an individual’s strengths and differences across various areas of social understanding and communication.

This Tool will help you to:

  1. Identify a pupil’s strengths and differences with social understanding and communication to improve support strategies and good practice
  2. Nurture positive and effective relationships between the pupil, staff, peers, home and the school community
  3. Make reasonable adjustments to better support a pupil with their social understanding and communication differences and build upon their strengths
